twitter automation contest, soon to be released

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

For all my loyal readers, I would like to tell you about a twitter contest I am hosting.
It is for a tool of mine called twitter automation.
This is simply a tool that allows you to schedule tweets, posting them when the time comes, litterally putting twitter on autopilot!
You can’t afford to miss this deal — it’s only available through this twitter contest!
I may be offering it for sail some time soon — but who wouldn’t want to get it for free?
I leave the decision up to you.
For all of you who will make the right choice, the link is http://tweetsw.in/146/
If you want to keep tabs on mtgames contests, then go to http://mtgames.org/contest.html
I urge you to get this one time offer, starting now, lasting for a week!
Two winners will be drawn on Sunday, January 9, 2010, and I will email their prize to them.
Thanks for supporting mtgames, and I hope to see you get this great offer!
-Michael.

u4u.be is live!

Friday, December 4th, 2009

A few days ago, I installed a script called tighturl on my u4u.be account.
It is now successfully working, and you may use it to shorten urls.
You can visit the url shortening page at http://u4u.be/.
I am currently looking into creating an api for my url shortening service, so that others can use it in their applications.
But for now, just visit http://u4u.be/ and enjoy!

Windows 7 released today!

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Today marks the first day of Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows 7, to be released to the public for purchase.
This is hopefully going to be the next generation in OS technology, showing new horizons of technology to be explored.
I have definitely heard many good things about it, and I can’t wait to get my own copy.
If you have any recommendations for what kind I should get, windows 7 home premium, ultimate, or professional, or whether I should get a netbook with windows 7 on it, then please post them in the comments.
It is also good that Freedom Scientific just launched Jaws for Windows 11.0, which was supposed to make windows 7 even more compatible with Jaws than it was before.
I cannot wait to get my copy of Jaws 11.0 either.
Again, if you have ideas about Jaws 11.0, post in the comments.

qwitter 3.0 beta released!

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

I am writing today to notify all my followers of a new piece of technology, or rather, a piece of technology with a new update, which I like and use all the time.
It is called qwitter.
It is simply a UI-less twitter client meant for the blind, which can use jaws, window eyes, and even sapi.
The most recent release is 3.0 public beta 2.
I will warn you that it has a few bugs, but not very many at all, considering that it is in beta.
The only problem I have found is when using the beta sound system, sounds only play for about half a second.
You can fix this, however, by setting your sound system to classic in the config dialogue.
I look forward to seeing you using qwitter.
You can get qwitter from http://www.qwitter-client.net/
Happy twittering!
-Michael.
